I didn’t create She Beat The Odds® because life was easy.

I created it because I know what it feels like to keep moving forward when life doesn’t go according to plan.

My name is Olivia Cross, and I am a wife, mother, educator, entrepreneur, author, and the founder of She Beat The Odds®.

For more than fifteen years, I’ve been building a life alongside my husband while raising our four beautiful children. Like many women, I’ve learned how to balance family, career, dreams, setbacks, responsibilities, and the constant desire to become everything God created me to be.

My journey has never been about perfection.

It’s been about perseverance.

Education has always been important to me because I believe knowledge creates opportunities. I earned my Associate Degree from Lone Star College, my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of Houston-Downtown, and later my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University Shreveport.

As an educator, I spent years helping students discover their potential while continuing to pursue my own growth and purpose. Through every classroom, leadership opportunity, challenge, and life transition, one lesson remained constant:

The odds do not determine the outcome.

Your response to them does.

That belief became the foundation for She Beat The Odds®.

What began as a personal reminder during difficult seasons eventually grew into a movement designed to encourage women to keep going, even when the road ahead feels uncertain.

Because I’ve experienced what it’s like to start over.

I’ve experienced moments of doubt.

I’ve faced obstacles that made me question what was next.

But I’ve also witnessed what happens when faith is stronger than fear and when determination becomes greater than disappointment.

Those experiences inspired me to create resources that help women remember their strength, celebrate their victories, and embrace the next chapter of their lives.

One of the most meaningful milestones in this journey was creating the Women’s Anthem, a song written to inspire confidence, resilience, and self-belief in women around the world. What started as an idea grew into a message that reached millions of women across social media and beyond.

But numbers were never the goal.

Impact was.

Because behind every view, every share, every download, and every message is a woman with a story.

A woman rebuilding.

A woman healing.

A woman believing again.

A woman refusing to quit.

That is who She Beat The Odds® was created for.

Today, through journals, music, digital resources, and empowering content, my mission remains simple:

To remind women that their circumstances do not define their future.

That setbacks are not the end of the story.

That every challenge carries the potential for growth.

And that no matter what obstacles stand before them, they still have the power to rise.
